„Made In Germany” – poznaliśmy szczegóły nowego zestawu MRS!

Memphis Recording Service ujawnia szczegóły nowego boxu!

Wydawnictwo Memphis Recording Service (MRS) ujawniło szczegóły swojego nowego produktu, który w sprzedaży ma ukazać się już 8 marca br. Zestaw zatytułowany „Made In Germany” (składać będą się na niego cztery płyty CD i licząca 152 strony książka) będzie zawierał ponad trzy godziny domowych nagrań Elvisa Presleya zarejestrowanych podczas służby piosenkarza w Niemczech, w tym także materiał z odkrytych przed kilkoma miesiącami taśm (tj. ponad godzinę rzadkiego i niesłyszanego dotąd materiału)!

Jak zapewnia wydawca, „mimo, że oryginalne taśmy zostały uszkodzone szumami, hałasem i zniekształceniami to tutaj po raz pierwszy w historii wszystkie nagrania Elvisa dokonane w Niemczech zostały starannie wyczyszczone, naprawione i odrestaurowane przy użyciu najbardziej zaawansowanej technologii„.

Dołączona do płyt książka oferować będzie dziesiątki rzadkich i nigdy wcześniej niepublikowanych fotografii oraz skanów dokumentów z okresu pobytu Presleya w Europie. Zdjęciom towarzyszyć będzie obszerny tekst Gordona Minto, który dokonał analizy wszystkich (niefilmowych) sesji nagraniowych Elvisa z lat 1956-1958 a także skupił się na jego prywatnych nagraniach zarejestrowanych w Niemczech.

Na dodatkowej, czwartej płycie, znajdą się wersje master przebojów Elvisa z lat 1957-1958, które podobnie jak nagrania domowe zostały odrestaurowane i zremasterowane przez MRS. Na tej płycie będzie można usłyszeć także po raz pierwszy w jednym miejscu utwory „All Shook Up”, „Don’t Leave Me Now” oraz „White Christmas” (ich wersje master) poprzedzone studyjnym dialogiem.
